Finally, we had our door decorating competition judged by the art department. Thanks to all S2 pupils who designed such creative doors this week in the theme of their assigned French or Spanish speaking country! The winning door this year is G14- Mauritius! 🇲🇺🚪 #WWHSModLangs

Yesterday I said « Au Revoir » to my classroom and to @WiliamwoodHS after 15 years. I started as an NQT, met some amazing colleagues &learned a great deal along the way. I was touched by all the kind words &encouragements. Quite emotional but ready to embrace my next challenge!

Our senior French pupils went to Parc des Buttes Chaumont, took some selfies and completed some activities. They enjoyed the sunshine and views of the lake while completing their first Paris challenge #WWHSParis24

We went running up that hill to the Sacré Coeur then went in for a look around. We took a wander round Montmartre and looked at les artistes, les petits magasins et les cafés 🖼️ ☕️ #WWHSParis24

Yesterday we hosted our first Mod Langs celebration event where all of our S1-3 Language Legends Hall of Fame nominees came for a French/Spanish breakfast. Our Legends tried croissants, pains au chocolat and hot chocolate made by our very own Oaks Roast team!🇫🇷🇪🇸🏅 #WWHSModLangs

To round off the year, 1.2, 1.9 and 2.2 reflected on their French knowledge and completed « le défi des 100 mots ». Each class came up with over a 100 French words learnt this year. Bravo! 👏 🇫🇷 #WWHSModLangs
