“Number talks- there is no evidence to say that this is an effective instructional strategy.” Wait, what????@NumCogLab
“Math talks is the back hole of math research”. Oh boy. If this is true, then why have our school districts been encouraging this for so long if there isn’t any evidence to support this new trend in math education??? @researchEDCan
@MmeLockhartLDSB @aprilschoenberg@MrZachG@AngieHanlin@janhasbrouck I can honestly say that you have been the biggest influence on me really learning, understanding and applying the Science of Reading, in particular in FI. I share your name and posts to whoever will listen! You are a true gem!
I can’t wait to read Christopher Such’s newest book! His first book, “The Art and Science of Teaching Primary Reading” was an excellent read and I have no doubt this will be just as good! @Suchmo83
