Thirty five children were reported to be among those killed overnight by renewed airstrikes from Israeli forces in Gaza. 💔

This cannot become the new normal under a ceasefire. A lasting ceasefire must mean safety, relief, and recovery for children not continued suffering. It must be fully respected and upheld.

We're pleading: stop this now. Protect the ceasefire, protect children, and give Gaza’s families a step towards the genuine peace they have been waiting for.

While we continue to push for a definitive ceasefire, improved humanitarian access, and better protections for children, we're doing everything we can to provide essential support to families in need.

The children killed in Gaza had names, and favourite subjects in school. They wanted to be teachers, doctors and astronauts when they grew up - the same as children in the UK and across the world.

They were, and still are, someone's everything: their entire universe.

Children are always the first to suffer in any war. We refuse to allow their suffering to become normalised.
