@m_dep3@Heaney555@champtgram It is blocked on rooted phones. Some networks block it and it seems that some networks leave Google to provide the service, which might not interoperate with Apple devices. (unlike if the mobile provider providing it)
@tlangimich Why can't I find any relevant-looking bylaw over at https://t.co/F7AueUy3LE ? (I did obtain a copy from @henriettefroh via Whatsapp, but it should not be that hard to find the bylaws that needs to be complied with...)
@NurdRage Interestingly enough, I was driving a 1982 Skyline for a few months, its windscreen picked up quite a bit more bugs than my 2005 Golf - the angle of the windscreens might be a factor.... (but I do think the amount of insects decreased as well)
@skychauhanz @abierkhatib Thr circuitry would be designed that several components need to fail for that to happen... (otherwise it won't pass safety regulations anyway) Getting multiple devices to short at once is highly unlikely...
@CapitecBankSA Last time I had to go to a branch to change phones since the selfie verification does not work correctly on cheap phones. Today it wants it for an internet banking login. Does this mean now I need to go to the branch every time I login to internet banking?
@AzolaMtsali@bram_hanekom The layout matches the other "notice papers" on their site (this one is not there currently though) (And don't think it is a decision that was taken, it might be a proposal to discuss something)
Example of a notice paper on their NA's site: https://t.co/hubIisBOFc
@young_urbanists If there are members in Gauteng, they might want have some inputs on the Tshwane land-use scheme....

@Stalruth@iamed2@mer__edith@signalapp Here everyone uses Whatsapp, the only SMSes being sent are business comms and 2FA... I tried out TextSecure and kept it since it (and later Signal) could easily backup/restore my SMS messages to a file. I have one contact actually using Signal and they are on Telegram as well.
@eevblog If you don't watch much, subscribing to multiple services is impractical. Options to buy access to individual series / movies at a reasonable price (< $1 / hour for time-limited (say 1 month) access) would help
@DryEtienne@wendyknowler@MTNza The endless calls to upgrade and impossible to stop marketing (even in things like voicemail notifications) after moving to prepaid is why I ported my number away from @MTNza.
