@tomhouse Tom, being able to locate/command/control a baseball really doesn’t have much to do with mechanics. You have to practice throwing to a target over and over and over from the distance you will perform!
@drivelinebases That’s a great analogy Kyle, but that’s exactly how I think about you! I have reached out to you several times to discuss a better way to develop a pitcher’s Kontrol and you have never even responded, accept to Delete me on Linkedin. Not cool when someone knows it all already!
@tomhouse Being able to throw a ball accurately has nothing to do with Mechanics. All you have to do is practice throwing to a target from the distance you will perform in.
@drivelinebases Or maybe use my patented Robotic catcher and realistic stand in batter. Yours looks pretty out dated for being such a state of the art facility?!?!
@DrivelineBB The important question is which one is able to get the barrel of the bat to the ball more consistent. This is a great example of getting too caught up in the Bio-Mecanical aspect of hitting. The end result is way more important than the mechanics!
@drivelinebases Hey Kyle! Thanks for deleting me on LinkedIn for asking about Kontrol!! Crazy that you wouldn’t want to have a conversation about how to help players with Kontrol!!
@tomhouse Location is NOT all that matters, but should be worked on just as much, if not more than Bio-Mechanics. When a Pitcher goes to the mound, do you want him to have perfect Kontrol or perfect Bio-Mechanics?
@tomhouse I have actually lost some Clients because the Parents did not like or understand when I take the first 5 minutes of their son’s lesson to warm up!
