Does anyone know if there is a regulation in the #38CFR that states whether outside insurance can still be charged for #veterans rated over 50% disabled. I cannot find and answer on the VA website or in the CFR. Help! #veteranslaw#disabledveterans#veteranadvocate
@TheProblem with @jonstewart great 1st episode, but as usual there is a confusion with access to care and access to monetary benefits. They are from two different branches of the VA that don't actually talk to each other, except through advocates.

@kathleenoclock @TheProblem@AppleTV The correlation is not for the healthcare, it's for the monetary benefit. If a vet is on an exposure reg, they are entitled to healthcare (with co-pays, if issues aren't connected to service) but there is also a monetary benefit and that is often the denial in question.
@chance5820 We were in the market to refi. The closing costs @USAA were comparable to a back alley mortgage broker. Went with @NavyFederal Amazing service and easy and affordable to close. Oh and all this during a pandemic.
Proud to call @ChristopherHahn my friend. Now can you get on @NYGovCuomo to get some vaccines to LI? They seem to be tripping over them upstate, while even the VAMC down here is still only in the 60s.
Good to see #militaryhumor hasnβt changed much since 1944. Pic taken by my Uncle Yippie, aka Pvt. John Bush, photographer for the Army Air Force. #USAF
Word of the Day (on repeat) is 'ipsedixitism': the dogmatic assertion that something is 'fact' without any proof to back it up, or because someone, somewhere said it.
