most birds have a hatch day.. but i have a SNATCH day. and it’s today!
i can’t believe it’s only been one year since my Other mom spotted me alone, exhausted, hungry, and disheveled at a water plant. the next day i was snatched up and brought home with her.

my poor canary brother ended up with a broken leg because of a band being too tight and the vet being unable to remove it !

the break was not healing and.. well now he has one less leg 🥺 he has pain meds and a cozy nest to sleep in!❤️ he will be okay :)

@badbirb yes, we aren’t too worried. especially after we got home and he immediately started scarfing down food like a little piggy! 🤣❤️ just hoping he heals fast🥲

my mom’s friend sent me the best toy ever!!!!! i love plucking keyboard keys and shredding cork so it is perfect!! 🤩

hello flock ! mom doesn’t have the twitter app on her phone right now, so i haven’t posted as much.

here’s a photo mom took after i popped out an egg at her while laying in bed..! she was not appreciative, as she has been trying to curb my hormonal behavior 😈🤷‍♀️

mom says thank you for everyone’s kind words about little Lemon💛 she started to learn how to trust humans and in her last minutes before leaving for the ER, she accepted pets and snuggles from my bonus mom 🥲

We have some sad news to share about our family’s foster tiel, Lemonade :(

Lemon passed away today at the emergency vet. She went in recently for issues which she got an antibiotic for. She declined more suddenly today and passed away before the vet could even examine her. 💔

Given her age, health, and the situation she came from, our family may have bought her a few more months by taking her in. My moms’ will miss her spicy attitude 💛

welp…… it’s spring time and i have been feeling nesty. mom says i’m not allowed, but oops… popped out my first (mom says and hopefully last) egg while i was sleepin. it’s calcium time!

i finally got to meet mom’s foster tiels a couple days ago! they were nice to me and i taught them how to eat oat groats, my favorite treat 😋 i was very happy because i usually don’t get so many but it was a special occasion

snowball progress! she is much more spooked than lemon, but she is going at her own pace and we are proud of her 🥰 she stepped up yesterday !

meet my mom’s new foster tiels, lemonade and snowball! they are about 7 years old and mom got them from a lady who has to rehome 6 tiels because she is going through a lot in her life. mom couldn’t say no to helping them out. they’re really scared but slowly adjusting 🥺

lemon is settling in and starting to trust my mom’s :) she even forgave for having to snatch her up with a towel to treat a pulled blood feather 🥺
