Very disappointed in #marks&spencers today @marksandspencer! when I returned an alpaca blend jumper bought at Christmas and worn twice that had excessive bobbling on it they said it was not a manufacturers fault but because it was natural wool! Really!!!!!
@kinmelhotelandspa still waiting for our main meal in the restaurant after being here for 2 hours and 55 minutes told there is no nut roast and no other veggie option…..really!!!! Our table was booked for 7.15 pm and we are still waiting for food!!!!
@ProfDonnaHall It’s tough being the one that speaks out as I know from personal experience but the alternative is letting yourself become a victim of the system. Eventually I left and work with organisations now where leaders want to listen
We’re honouring the little girls of #Southport along with many others this weekend, lighting up the skies and buildings in pink, showing our love and solidarity with their families, and with our 🙏 to those fighting 💕💕💕
What a brilliant evening (despite the weather) for our Knowsley Chamber Summer Social last night. A big thank you to the @ChillOutSpa1 for being a fantastic venue and to Greens & Co for their delicious canapés.
I’ve seen these blockers demonstrated at various times throughout my career now I spend time supporting organisations deal with the behaviours these create or ensuring it doesn’t happen
The Danish group @InnovisorInc has identified "6 change blockers" based on analysis of networks/influence/change with organisations in 70+ countries. The 6 blockers are:
1) Leadership cohesion - leadership teams are more siloed than any other kind of team
2) The fragmentation or even disconnection of internal teams
3) Misalignment between the senior team & the people in the organisation who are most influential
4) Disengagement & lack of commitment to the change from employees
5) Lack of leadership follow through
6) A project team that has not been set up for success

This is hard for me to admit, but it's true.
Ask yourself those questions I've asked myself, if you are like me, you could be shocked by the answers.
Save some of your best for those who you are closest to.

If we look at the most effective networks & communities of practice, we see they need time & leadership to develop & mature. They are built on strong foundations of connection, which creates the conditions for sharing to happen. They go through these early stages before they reach a level of maturity that enables them to really make a difference in the world. The health & fitness of a network or CoP needs to be nurtured & grown. @BeckyMalby@DrNaeemAhmed. Inspired by @simongterry
