@TAKEALOT What steps did you take to flag this and stop the sale from going through? A fraud case has been opened. But the responsibility is not solely on @StandardBankZA but with you as well because clearly there are no controls in place at @TAKEALOT to combat such instances of fraud.

@TAKEALOT why do you protect criminals? I reported that my mom was scammed and that the criminals using her account transacted and bought things on Takealot. I even provided you with bank statements to show the transactions and this is the response I receive???

This response is not good enough! What steps did @TAKEALOT take even after the matter was reported to prohibit the sale and delivery from happening? Clearly criminals are using @TAKEALOT to advance their criminal activities and @TAKEALOT is complicit. #Takealot #fraud

@TAKEALOT when were the goods shipped? What are the shipment details? What is the delivery address and who were they delivered to?

Whether the transaction was completed correctly or not, a crime was committed and @TAKEALOT processed goods with stolen money, and the lack of action after being notified makes you an accessory.

this is unacceptable! I reported this to @StandardBankZA immediately when it happened (15 Sep) and subsequently to @TAKEALOT (16 Sep) however no action was taken even when there’s a clear paper trail. A total of R35 400 was taken from the account.
