Thank you to Dave Steele of @MobiliSEWis for speaking at our recent annual meeting. @MobiliSEwi is south east Wisconsin’s leading voice for transit and transportation alternatives, overseeing FlexRide Milwaukee, an innovative on-demand workforce transportation service.
All of us at @mobiliseWis are heartbroken to hear of the loss of Jonathan Brostoff. He was a champion for transportation choices, whether in the State Legislature or in Milwaukee City Hall. He will be missed by many.
Our hearts go out to his family at this difficult time.

The 27th Street BRT project is not perfect, but it's a step in a positive direction of a future MKE where a car is optional, not a necessity. BRT projects like this one have delivered fast, frequent and reliable service at a reasonable cost for the taxpayer.

The $148 million cost of this project would be funded 80% through Federal sources, and would cover infrastructure improvements such as dedicated bus lanes and station stops.
