A real treat to wrap up our term with two remarkably engaging and interesting talks by Elsa Devienne, on the history of LA beach culture and the school run, the so-called 'war on motorists' and the need to create and share counter-narratives of cycling and walking school runs.
We are looking forward to hosting Dr Elsa devienne (Northumbria University) on Weds. 6 December, 10-11.30am, to discuss both her award-winning book 'The Sand Rush' and her new project on the school gates and everyday mobilities.
The meeting is online so DM if you'd like to join.
