@retryi_g @KuromiAkumura@BILSLITTLELIAR@coleorags Oh 100%. I'm not saying Ribbit isn't a victim of mistreatment. Jax was absolutely coping poorly in that moment and did her wrong. At the same time, she clearly wanted Jax's trust/approval and her identity was too defined by that, making her also codependent on Jax. Both are true
@KuromiAkumura@BILSLITTLELIAR@coleorags That is also true. The fact that she was codependent does not free Jax of her sins against Ribbit. The only distinction I'm highlighting is that a non-codependent Ribbit would move on from Jax to the other members to get her needs met, without abstracting.
@BILSLITTLELIAR@coleorags There is a certain degree to which Ribbit was codependent. It's true that Ribbit didn't display overt signs of codependency, but the fact that Jax's rejection of her was a major factor that resulted in her abstraction is a good sign she was codependent.
@GooseworxMusic Question: At nearly the end, where everyone was airing their frustrations with Caine: Was that an intentional allegory about people's anger towards God, or was that more accidental? I loved how every issue the cast levied was both valid towards Caine, but 100% real.
@TiredActor Love this! I've been slowly following your page a year or so after your viral "square hole" video. Thought you'd have that one hit wonder, and that'd be it, but here you are still entertaining the world thereafter! Great work!
@interesting_aIl The government could be funding cleaning more parks, but let's not forget the DOGE cuts to public park services earlier in the year. Hard for the government to hire park cleaners when its not spending as much money on that... Billionaires gotta get tax breaks ya' know.
