Southern moderate girl. Louisiana artist. Reposter extraordinaire! Thank you Elon and Trump for saving America! Everything I say here is my expressed opinion.
@SenTomCotton@LeaderJohnThune Awww, look at your buddy Thune reposting your post. How many times have you gavelled in the proforma sessions that prevent Trump’s appointees?!!!!! 🙄 You’re a TRAITOR!!!
The staffer says he resigned in disgust after witnessing alleged anti-Trump tirades and deliberate stonewalling — claiming Thune is working with Mitch McConnell and even coordinating with Chuck Schumer to slow down the administration.
@LAGovJeffLandry WHAT ABOUT PAPER BALLOTS?!!! We have zero trust in any voting machine. Period. Please do what Trump asked you to do, make Louisiana elections PAPER BALLOTS!

@houmanhemmati@spencerpratt Yes, while I LOVE this line of thinking, the marxists still own the elections. They’ll just rinse n repeat. Though, my hope is scotus puts an end to their counting ballots for a month bs.
@libsoftiktok Yall realize this year is the 25th anniversary of 9/11? Any guess how much emphasis this mayor is gonna allow for that piece of history? Trump should organize something for that. REMIND EVERYONE WHAT MUSLIMS DID TO AMERICA!
Wrong. He believes, as many of us do, is follow the science. Not pharma sponsored research, REAL RESEARCH.
I got news for you, as conservatives, we’re only 35% of the country, and that’s not 35% of voters either. So yes, we may need to bend a little in some places more than others to get votes.
But lemme tell ya, Im damn sure not gonna vote for anyone who believes in Fauci type research or medicine, and Im damn sure not gonna vote for another RINO or GOP simply bc they’re GOP -and I will run away from any candidate that’s pharma supported.
If GOP doesnt get it’s act together, and stop operating in their old school political ways, they will become the dinosaur they were headed towards being before Trump came along and dems literally lost their freaking minds.
You wanna stick to principles, go ahead and sit on your pile of principles. Conservatives have done that the last 30+yrs, and look where it got us: sitting on a pile of principles, and losing elections. Republicans also fell asleep at what little wheel they had long before that anyway, and they ignored the very things that dems used to create woke culture, starting with education.
So yes, Im more focussed on how we can win more elections, keep dems from getting in power, and get rid of government waste.
And as far as RFK goes, I truly, sincerely do not give a rats asssssss what insanity he’s spewed in his previous life, what I care about is now, and that he’s literally making decisions that will make all of us a little healthier.
Good luck with your principles.
The GOP is beyond broken. Its goal has been to undermine and destroy MAGA and MAHA. It isn’t all Republicans, but RINOs in key positions are doing the job and the cowards who put party over everything are facilitating it. Unless and until we retake the GOP and make it MAGA and MAHA, the nation remains uniparty.
THANNNK YOU! I been saying that since last year. GOP prioritizes their party and to do that they have to preserve the same corrupt system maga is trying to dismantle. GOP is an old dying lion trying to hold onto power, and MAGA is the new young Lion who needs to take charge.
I live in Louisiana, and I recently decided to get involved in politics bc of our senate election (the Trump endorsee that I was voting for, Letlow, is a carbon capture, DEI supporting governor pet!).
Politics is SOOOO far outside my social circles. Im upper-mid class, and I come from a long lineage of republican donating n doing nothingers. Though I used to think of myself as slightly moderate, I don’t think that even exists in the political world anymore.
So I went to a couple meeting for parish (county) GOP. Thing is, that’s all they do. They go to meetings, maybe have a couple candidates speak if it’s election time, and go home. THAT’S IT. I asked abt getting involved to get results, but that’s not what they’re about. I mean, they think they’re about getting results, but not the kind that helps change what’s broken.
So to me, Gop is about their party, nothing else, maga is more so about changing what needs fixing. And I believe this gop do-nothing mentality permeates down to the municipal level. There’s not much organizing either as far as election candidate strategies go.
For instance, look at Virginia’s governor election last year. We had a STAUNCH uber right wing conservative running against an supposed moderate dem IN A SWING STATE! That right there, cmon! Is nobody watching the candidates we put forward and strategizing abt who has best chance to win? No, bc all they care abt is GOP and uber conservative candidates.
But I got news for every conservative out there, including myself, we’re only 35% of America, and that’s not 35% of voters, and def not midterms. On top of that, we’ve got liberals moving to conservative stronghold areas thanks to democrat insanity. NOBODY IS TALKING ABT THIS!
Oy. Im off on a tangent. So, how do we go abt taking over GOP? Seriously, I don’t mean that rhetorically.
Im thinking it needs to begin with local maga chapters. Yeh it’s small potatoes in the scope of things, but it’s a start.
Last month I decided to have lunches with the few political people I know, all gop, just to have dialogue. It was funny, they all said the same thing, if you’re gonna dig into politics then you need to understand rule number 1, voters are dumb. So then I thought, well there’s a starting point, try to educate voters on candidates. Legitimately, not some fluffed up bs. Comparing what they say to what they do, who their donors are, potential conflicts, etc. The real guts of each candidate. And create an easy to read, single source for voters to go to to understand each candidate, from the maga perspective.
But Im just a politics newbie who’s easily ignited, in case that’s not extremely obvious, with a newfound fire in my gut abt all this. Not as a possible candidate, more so I want to help the maga cause. BUT that’s culdesack thinking right now, it’s got nowhere to go. There’s nothing out there, no groups, no clubs, nothing. It’s all GOP. And guess how well recieved anybody’s gonna be at a gop meeting talking abt how we need to focus on maga candidates instead of just GOP. Like my uncle used to say, it’ll be like a turd in the punchbowl. Posting on X (or any social media) is about the only option.
Personally, I want these old school GOPers OUT. Get on the train or get out the way. Which if you know anything abt Louisiana politics, feels like an insurmountable task.
Or were you just bitching n not meaning it to go anywhere? Cuz I’d love to know what your ideas are if you have any. Seriously.
@jbletlow Ah yes, you’ll fight for ICE, while you destroy our state with carbon capture! Just stop. No really, just stop. You no more have our best interests than any democrat in California. Take your carbon capture and lispy voice and shove them where the sun don’t shine. We’re on to you.
@ChuckGrassley I hope you realize, if yall don’t pass the Save Act, we won’t just blame Thune, WE WILL BLAME EVERY GOP SENATOR AND ACT ACCORDINGLY TO GET ALL OUSTED. Please don’t underestimate my words here bc Im not a “somebody”. Alot of us nobodies can amount to a LOT of results.
