@clhubes This was my experience as well. Now my oldest is 16, but I still remember the trauma well. It changed my sleep habits completely, but not for the worst.

@kristatee @garrettelliott If I hadn't seen people talking about it on socials I probably would have sent the kids to the bus on Tuesday. Luckily my teens talk to their friends, so networking for the win!
(I haven't seen anything specific from the kids school or board - alcdsb.)

@Dadsaysjokes But if you had all of those, can't you still listen to your collection? I have not subscribed to any music services and I digitized my CD collection many years ago and keep it in my phone to listen to. (Also have a stereo set up with CD player and turntable.)

@miztwocents13 @evilplasticfork My parents did that too. I don't, but do keep it in a closed (supposedly airtight) container in a cupboard.

@shaylariane The chicken souvlaki meal was amazing. We had an excellent lunch there, then stopped in at the library (where my daughter found her friends playing DnD, and stayed with them when we went home - with books!)
