@kangaroobixcube@jackunheard Except Georgia, SC and Florida aren't in the darkest section & Nevada, KY, OK & NM are despite not having much of ""the problem"" your The Map seemingly wants to show
@janon90@SpryLay Brown University research estimates, including indirect deaths (destroyed infrastructure and the like leading to more deaths than otherwise) at more than 4 million.
That does include deaths from all combat zones and instigators including Syria, Yemen, etc
@evsnrgy @SpryLay It's more that choosing today to add the second group implies you don't actually care about the first group, you just wanted a reason to bring up the second. Kinda some All Lives Matter shit. That's not who we're talking about today.
That's just one way to look at it though
@ProbablyNice@simplename62385@ThePandemos It's really not. Sex predates human beings by like a billion years. We put a lot of things around sex, sure, that's mostly what gender is. But sex is very much an objective thing.
@simplename62385@ThePandemos A "man" is a gender, not a sex. A male bird, male frog and have one defining, binding characteristic - we make motile gametes.
@simplename62385@ThePandemos This is technically not true - sex is based on the gametes your body makes. That's now some animals can change their sex, they don't adjust their chromosomes.
@brokeboy2245@Howlingmutant0 That's literally every religion. Even personally I think less of all religious people - I don't necessarily think they're evil or that I want to destroy them
