Back 3-4 years ago AMP was part of 'must-do' SEO strategies across SEO conferences. Always treat 'expert' blanket recommendations with a pinch of salt , since nobody understands your business needs better than you #BrightonSEO

@Maria_Amelie@lqtang This reminds me of a music event I wanted to attend back long time ago in Corfu, which as I found out when tried to purchase a ticket was only accessible to everyone except locals. But to see this happening for an SEO event is out of this world. What has happened in our industry?
📢 Today we’re launching the Google Search Console URL Inspection API, a new way for developers & SEOs to debug and optimize their pages 🔎 https://t.co/ckRPcFRPNJ
We loved @rjonesx, our friend and longtime Mozzer. He was brilliant, bold, and courageous. His quick wit and charm never failed to make us laugh.
Losing him feels unimaginable, and we're holding his loved ones close to our hearts.
@JohnMu@gfiorelli1 Thank you very much both. So, even though ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 covers' countries, dependent territories, and special areas of geographical interest' you're saying that hreflang only works for countries and no other type of geographic locale excluding all 'exceptional reservations'.
Hey @JohnMu . Would Google really treat Spain and Canary islands as different locales if we keep them on separate sites and supported with the country-specific hreflang tags es and ic as mentioned at https://t.co/8wsOyO6xyc ?
@JohnMu I mean do hreflang="es-es" for Spain's site and hreflang="es-ic" for another site dedicated to the Canary islands. This is needed due to different pricing. Should we be concerned about the websites content not showing up to the expected users in each one of the two locales?
Took 2 days off from the computer and came back to find that Chrome is apparently now hiding all URL paths and just showing the domain name for all URLs, unless you hover over your address bar.
Is this a thing now?
Can it not be?
@JohnMu Thank you @JohnMu .I've definitely seen FAQs being surfaced in rich results just for one question but seems inconsistent. There are valid cases IMO to keep FAQs with very lengthy answers and rich media on separate pages, so maybe worth revisiting this?
@JohnMu Google recommends FAQPage schema on a page that lists several questions. What about pages that only list one question/answer per page and do not qualify for QAPage because users cannot submit answers? Wouldn't it be a valid case of using FAQPage schema if no alternative?
Hi @JohnMu . If I do max-image-preview:none on a number of images my understanding is that these won't appear in the web & image search results but Google will not disregard them completely from an indexation and relevance standpoint. Is this assumption correct? Tnx!
