Happy to share our last work. Wadjet-I SMC hinges are gates allowing selective bypass of obstacles connected through ssDNA BUT are dispensable for extrusion of naked DNA.

Spent the weekend up in the #Brévine Valley with a notoriously cold microclimate to get my "snow fix". Was expecting some cold but certainly not -31C cold! Apparently lowest temp in 10+ years. As us Brits would say, "it's absolutely baltic out there!"
