Those claiming that Hinduism was "invented" in the 19th c. would do well to look at Madhavacharya's Sarvadarsanasamgraha (14th c), first edited & brought to light in modern times by none other than the great Isvarachandra Vidyasagara in 1858, just a year after the Great Revolt.
