Since @RailaOdinga discovered that he can enjoy presidential privileges without the accountability of being President, he has participated in the last 4 presidential elections, not to win.

The disorganizations around Raila’s Presidential campaigns are never mistakes. They are intentional, done deliberately so he loses the elections.

You see, as President, Raila will have to deliver on his promises. He will have to fight corruption by arresting the corrupt, create jobs for the jobless, make healthcare work, fix the mess in the education system…….be the hero his supporters think he is.

And since he knows that as an elected president, he will most likely fall short of the expectations of his supporters, he deliberately run a poor campaign and blame others for his loss.

It is better for him that his supporters are left with the hope that if Raila were President, he would have fixed things than him being elected and failing to fix anything.

And so the process to lose elections he would easily win begins.

In his strongholds, his party would sell Party tickets to individuals, often unpopular with the electorate. Popular candidates who choose to run as independent or on other parties part of his coalition movement, are de-campaigned even though their voters would still vote for Raila as President.

This leads to voters apathy.

At the national level, there is always squabbles about campaigns funds and resources. His family members never allow professionals hired to help with Raila’s campaigns do their job and run a professional campaign.

And then we have the likes of @JunetMohamed who eat agents money instead of hiring agents to protect Raila’s votes.

After Raila has lost the election, he will allege that his votes were stolen, poisoning the mind of his supporters, demand that the servers to be opened, setting the stage for confrontation between his supporters and those declared winners of the Presidency.

He will then lead his fanatical supporters to the streets, often mobilized ostensibly to agitate for social issues such as higher costs of living, while in reality these are often blackmail tactics intended to prepare the ground for his handshake with those in power.

With the operation of the nation paralyzed, his supporters killed, businesses destroyed, and to prevent the Republic from descending into total anarchy, Raila would then be offered a handshake that comes with presidential privileges.

After he is sorted, he goes on to support those in power, finding reasons to justify his actions, something like National interests, peace, national unity, blah blah, forgets about his supporters killed in his quest for handshakes, as he plans to lose the next election to repeat the cycle.

Hopefully Wakina @gpdkaluma will stop blaming others as the reasons why Raila is supporting Ruto now.

No, Raila is supporting Ruto not because Kikuyus didn’t vote for him. He is supporting Ruto because he deliberately lost the last election since he was never interested in being President.

This is a lesson some of us, former supporters of Raila learned long time ago. The guy runs not to be President, but to use his supporters to bargain for handshakes after elections.
