It's literally stabbing in the heart of astikas. This is selective action at its best. Commercial shops, other illegal structures, and buffer-zone encroachments around the same area continue undisturbed, but a temple gopuram must go. Public land arguments are applied strictly only when it is a Hindu place of worship. This is not urban planning; this is systematic erasure of our temples and civilisational identity bit by bit. Local devotees and the RWA must immediately move the High Court / approach higher authorities with proper survey records. Mere outrage on social media achieves nothing. Temples are not obstacles. They are our civilisational anchors. How many more will be sacrificed in the name of footpaths and roads?
