Sleeping on the streets is NOT a lifestyle choice. We don’t have nearly enough affordable homes, rents are soaring and this is leaving people destitute and forced to sleep rough.
This is a consequence of poverty. And poverty in this country has been exacerbated by policy choices

*** Dodgy Court Case Update ***

The CPS have dropped all charges against me - as I predicted.

But I’m angry that dishonest politicians managed create bad headlines about me a week ago - manipulating the police, the CPS and some of the media.

This is a shocking cock-up by Cleveland Police and the CPS where they’ve shown themselves to be ignorant of the law and very gullible.

The politician who went to the police with a bogus complaint and dodgy info should be put in prison for wasting police time.

Anyone reading this should be very concerned - not for me but for others - this will happen again. So we need to make sure that proper training and monitoring of CPS happens fast.

I am calling for a full investigation into this episode which has cost the police and the CPS a lot of money and wasted everyone’s time.
