Supplements that can harm you 💊✅
Calcium
Never calcium carbonate.
Needs strong stomach acid. Most people don’t have it.
Causes bloating and stones.
Use calcium citrate or calcium malate.
Better absorption. Gentler on the gut. Goes where it’s needed.
Folic Acid
Synthetic folic acid is outdated.
Many people can’t convert it properly.
It just circulates unmetabolized.
Use L-methylfolate.
That’s the active form your cells actually use.
Vitamin E
Avoid “dl-alpha tocopherol”.
That’s synthetic and incomplete.
Use natural mixed tocopherols.
Look for d-alpha with gamma, beta, delta.
Tocotrinol is slightly better form.
Real antioxidant protection works as a team.
Vitamin K
K1 alone is not enough.
It works mostly in blood clotting.
For bones and arteries, you need K2.
Specifically MK-7.
It tells calcium where to go and where not to.
Omega-3
Most fish oil is weak and oxidized.
Low EPA, low DHA, high hype.
Choose triglyceride or re-esterified TG form, cod liver oil.
High EPA + DHA.
If vegetarian, use algae oil. Clean and effective.
Zinc
Zinc oxide is cheap filler.
Poor absorption. Upsets the stomach.
Use zinc picolinate Zinc citrate or zinc bisglycinate.
Better uptake. Better tolerance. Better results.
Lesson:
Dose matters.
But form matters more.

Choose nutrients it actually recognizes.
