Free-tier reality: model catalogs rotate weekly.

3 of 8 free models died within ONE day in live testing.

So every session starts with live probing — tiny ~10-token health checks per candidate. Dead models eliminated before work begins, paid models as guaranteed floor.

The core idea: three separate mutexes.

CODE (source files) · LEDGER (tracking docs) · DB-CF (infrastructure)

Docs threads need LEDGER for seconds. Code threads hold CODE for hours.
Separate locks = docs work never queues behind coding. That's the throughput trick.
