Passing, perfecting that first touch and shooting. It's also important that the team understand that they have to take shots...not "perfect" shots and certainly not try to dribble all the way into the box and poke the ball into the corner. Take shots...hard shots outside the 18 and pick a side. Don't shoot at the damn goalie! π€£
@DeanTTraining For starters that's 95lb at the MOST. I've always been taught/told that you should be able to bench press your bodyweight at a minimum. Not sure what the ladies have been taught.
@AngelMD1103 Lost track of the number of tornadoes I've watched dance across the fields. Quite beautiful in many ways so long as it's not taking lives or destroying homes. And if it's not headed my way I'll just watch it do it's thing.
You're not paying $47 for a "haircut". You're likely paying for a service or experience that includes a haircut, shampoo scalp massage, hot steam towel on your face, back of the neck shave, drying and styling etc.
You can also thank COVID for fucking the personal services industry and nearly doubling the cost of labor for good barbers and stylists, most of who prefer an hourly wage over commission because working for pure commission is "too hard". At a minimum $20 of that service goes straight to labor.
Also keep in mind the nicer barbershops and salons provide benefits for their employees...medical, dental, vision, 401k etc. None of which is cheap for a small business in a traditionally fragmented market where it's almost impossible to get enough scale to negotiate better rates.
Let's not forget the rent is higher in the nicer shopping centers where you would prefer to frequent and the Landlords raise the rent every single year.
While I'm at it, $15 is a bargain for professional grade pomades and you definitely need it to maintain the look your barber gave you in the shop. That shit your wife picked up at Krogers or Publix smells like Axe and performs horribly.
And if she happens to be bitching about the price of your service, kindly remind her that her makeup costs a ridiculous sum of money, she spends $100 to get a complete set of acrylic nails put on then $60 every 2 ish weeks just to maintain the fills.
Be sure to also point out that her cut and color every 6 weeks costs $250 MINIMUM, $50-$75 for waxing, $50 for lashes and every time you turn around she wants another $2000 Louis Vuitton purse. If that doesn't level set things for you or her, nothing will.
All that being said...GreatClips will give you just the "haircut only" you want but when they fuck up your hair so badly you're afraid to be seen in public, that $47 service and $15 pomade will all of sudden look and feel entirely different. π
@WallStreetApes@grok is this illegal or is this just using tax law and business strategies as they are intended to be used? While you are at it, define "elite privilege", then explain how laws can be used by anyone, regardless of socio-economic background.
@NicHulscher@grok is this claim framed in the proper context? Not I huge fan of Bill Gates but "elimination" or "get rid of" seem to be inflammatory clickbait claims.
@grok and @xai what would you suggest I do here. I need help to troubleshoot this and any version of the chat I try is ended after a message or two with the message seen here.
