my toxic trait is being at a destination wedding in Cali, telling all the bostonians that I work for the T, then asking them if they love it and/or take public transit
@streamside1070 @shivwani1 I actually lived/studied/worked in Paris for four years because I loved it so much! And come back every year! I’m familiar with the streets of Boston and Paris, and what’s possible. Thank you for your feedback, though!
I’m a driver. I drive in bus only lanes every chance I get, I stop in virtually every bus zone I see, and I am absolutely ecstatic whenever I hear a car gets ticketed for it. Because I drive the bus. Wish you had interviewed a transit operator, we could explain why this is just.
theres nothing better than landing in miami, being embraced by its warmth, chismoseando with my parents in spanish, and eating nicaraguan fritanga. in that order.
@scribblesonnapk@ElleryKlein@MBTA Curious what y’all mean by signage. The physical bus stop signage that tells riders what routes stop at each stop? The screens that tell you when a bus is arriving? Or potentially the accuracy of predictions?
Since it’s the first time the City of Boston has a Director of Nightlife Economy, I wish they were more transparent and engaging wrt what the vision and active plans are. I’d like to start believing change will come.
@alex_hallowell Wholly agree with this whole thread! Curious what supporting your local transit agency looks like to you and what the action item is here. Riding the system? Making demands of the legislature and/or at board meetings?
Bus detours are a nightmare. Today at 2pm I'm joining folks at @mtamaryland, @STLevis,@SwiftlyInc +@transitapp for a webinar to discuss how to provide better digital information to riders and ops staff during bus detours. Sign up here: https://t.co/5D06vWC0au
