A4: I am looking forward to the subtle nuances of the changing of seasons. Fall is my favorite. As it starts to get colder outside, it becomes much easier to stay home, rest and be grateful for what I have. #FlipgridForAll
A3: Something I feel I have learned about (and experienced!) so much during this time of teaching remotely is empathy and compassion. I believe it is the key to connecting in a genuine way and is at the heart of my teaching values. #FlipgridForAll
Q1 π‘ I am brAnd new to Flipgrid but want to learn more about it! I watched a YouTube video on how the program works and noticed it seems to be organized in a really user-friendly way.

@JessKochendoer1 What a great article! It's so important that we continue to consider boundaries (both for ourselves and for our students) on social media. It is a simple way of expressing compassion and respect during this difficult time.
How do we cultivate complex emotions such as empathy and compassion in our students (even with remote learning)?
Neurobiology and the science of the developing brain can really help us understand our important role, as teachers.

Dear #pstpln & #EDUC331 communities,
What are some of your current favorite self-care activities for avoiding burn-out (both short and long term) during this challenging time?
@spoyo@torreytrust@Rdene915
@KatelynButler49 It's so important for teachers to recognize and cultivate this sense of awe and wonder. I fondly remember, in Kindergarten, watching our classroom caterpillars turn into monarch butterflies, releasing them and counting the days until they reached Mexico. #pstpln
I'd like to take a moment to celebrate the beautiful, giving hearts of teachers. I am deeply encouraged by the ways teachers choose to connect, encourage and share with fellow teachers. This is true community and compassion. We are better together. #pstpln#CelebrateMonday
Hello! My name is Molly Post. I taught Art for 2 years and am currently enrolled in #EDUC331 class in the Teaching Licensure Program @CSUSchoolOfEd . My hope is that I learn new ways to connect with a larger #education community by participating in this #pstpln 5-Day Challenge.
