Family, we got our van back! A huge thank you to the incredible team at Anderson Ford of Lincoln North in Lincoln, Nebraska, for stepping up after hearing about our deer accident. They generously covered all of the repairs related to the deer damage and even paid for half of the additional repairs they discovered along the way. The total repair bill came to around $15,000. Anderson Ford covered more than $10,000, and thanks to your generous donations, we were able to cover the remaining $5,000. Your support also helped purchase the grill guard you now see on the front of the van, which will provide extra protection if we ever encounter another deer on the road. Hopefully, we never have to test it!

Thank you, Anderson Ford, and thank you to every single person who donated and prayed for us during this journey. I’m now headed back home to Huntsville, Alabama, and next week I’m hoping to get back on the road to visit more kids across the country who have completed the 50 Yard Challenge. Nebraska, thank you for your kindness and hospitality, and thank you, family, for always standing with us.
