The #txlege passed 1208 bills this session. They filed 8719 (highest since 1991 last date available). That’s a passage rate of 13.8% (lowest since ‘91). Besides 2023 (15.5% passage rate) the rate is usually around 20% on average. 1/2

I’ve been using a lot of duck analogies recently.
- water off a duck’s back
- be like a duck: calm on the surface, and paddle like hell
- ducks in a row
- sitting duck
- lame duck
Now mother nature thinks I’m a duck. I cannot swim in business attire! 😭
Texas manufacturers are excited for forward-thinking water infrastructure policy that supports the growing #manufacturing economy and the high-quality jobs manufacturing projects bring to our State. #txlege#ManufacturingMatters
I spent hours yesterday fighting with ChatGPT to help me format some information I'm using to gear up for session. Today, I switched over to Google's NotebookLM, and not only is it faster, but it's much more accurate.
My favorite feature so far is its polite way of telling me to reread its outputs.
