@chapelfowler would be curious to see (and totally know this wouldn't happen this year)...
11-1 Clemson (loss to LSU; win vs Miami)
12-0 NC St (best win vs LV in a really weak schedule)
12-0 BC (wins at Miami and at ND)
do you reward NC St for scheduling Richmond, Vandy, App St OOC?
@Genetics56 question for you....
could there be a league contraction (or would this be outlawed under the regulation)? for instance, could Oregon USC Ohio St Michigan Penn St and a few others leave and have their own league with much greater $/team
@RossDellenger@YahooSports Could a league contract? For instance.. what if Miami FSU GT Clemson UNC VT Louisville and SMU wanted to bolt the ACC and start a new league and cut that league's TV pie by 8 teams?
@ChrisMurphyCT let the 18-21 year old kids create their own league with no school affiliation and let them show you their true value. Hint: it isn't much.
@annieprideRTR Many of them also get accepted into schools that they'd have no way of getting into otherwise. None of the pro-NIL people ever bring that up
@Genetics56 I've said that for many of these situations. You can play anyone you want... the CFP can invite anyone they want. like Miami over ND last year. While they are it...let the penalty for Ole Miss be Chambliss and Firelli are ineligible for the playoff and their seeding will reflect
@ByPatForde hate it for the players and coaches involved but this is exactly what many have been advocating for with their stance on no rules on football and basketball. No rules means non-revenue sports like swimming gets cut many places
@DM_Shirley@LARRYTHALE1 you forgot one... you posting multiple times after every loss and never after a win.
This team clearly has problems... the coach also has a track record everywhere he's been; clearly, next year has to be better but you just pile on
@Genetics56 and in what way isn't in legal. A player isn't told he can't transfer... he just has to find a coach willing to take the penalty to get him.
@joshclaborn@PeteThamel don't disagree. Except neither of those teams have any business being in a playoff. Let the teams that legitimately have a shot at the national title in... the others are just looking for $ and a participation trophy to say they were in the CFP
@ByDavidTeel Disappointing nobody will ask him why he wasn't proactive in the Duke/Miami issues with Mensah with what appeared to be tampering by Miami
@Genetics56 it has not defeated tampering at all. Look what your coach at Illinois said. It may make it harder to get out of for a multi-year contract early but it hasn't stopped tampering at all
