@DJJazzyJody They all look very surprised. Can you see those little faces? It be looks like they’re trying to say something like, “Oh no! You forgot the bananas! “
Women need to understand this about men…
To be a man is to die a bit inside.
Women have their own challenges, I know. But here’s the thing, ladies…
The people around you actually give a crap about what you’re going through. We don’t have that.
Nobody cares.
You see, a grown man still has inside him, buried deep, the little boy version of himself.
The part of him that just wants to run and play and be loved and adored… Who just wants to be scooped up and held tight…
To be told, “at-a-boy.”
“I’m proud of you, son.”
We get that when we’re kids. But, we notice something…
As we get older, something changes.
Our milestones towards manhood pass by. And so does the affection.
We start becoming an afterthought. People slowly lose interest…
Until one day, we look in the mirror and realize we’ve become something very different from that little boy… though we still feel like him.
We’ve become the least sympathetic of all creatures.
We’ve become men.
Not cute. Not adored. Not praised.
Disposable.
Valued only for what we provide to others.
“A few good men” to work and die for you.
As it’s been said… unconditional love is for women, children and dogs. Not men.
Taking on fatherhood is the only thing that makes it bearable. Because at least then, your inner death is imbued with purpose…
So, you give away everything you are to that purpose. Mom and kids… It’s all for them. Every penny. Every ounce of sweat.
You’re awake first. You’re asleep last. You work all day.
Every moment is spent on them. You’ve lost your hobbies. You’ve lost your friends. You barely know who you are anymore. You’ve given it all away.
At social events, people want to see your kids. They want to see your wife. Not really you.
But here’s the thing, ladies. We don’t want to talk about it. We don’t want sympathy. We don’t even want it to change.
It’s who we are. It’s our purpose.
All we want… literally, all men want…
It’s not sex (even if that’s part of it)…
All we really want is just a few moments every day where you wrap your arms around us..
Lay our head on your chest…
Stroke our hair…
And tell us how much you love us and respect us.
That boy… buried deep in the subconscious of this burley man of yours…
He’s awake again. For just a moment. And he can feel again.
The rush of endorphins. The release. The centering.
He knows he’s a good boy.
There’s nothing better.
That boy… that man… is healed. And he’s ready, again, to battle the world for you.
The Nativity story in Luke 2 has been told for centuries, yet its message remains the same: God sent His Son to bring light and life to all.
And as we celebrate His birth, may we create traditions that share His love through simple acts of kindness and service. #LightTheWorld
I know beyond any certainty in my life that this is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, restored with the fullness of the gospel that God has chosen to reveal in this dispensation of the fullness of time and led by prophets to the present day.
I respond with humility to the responsibility that God has placed upon me and commit my whole heart and soul to the service to which I’ve been called.
No interest in reading the Book of Mormon, but curious if it actually does talk about Jesus?

“As one of the special witnesses of the name of Christ in all the world, I testify that He is the Son of the living God. Jesus is the Christ—our atoning Savior and Redeemer. This is His Church, restored to bless God’s children and to prepare the world for the Second Coming of the Lord.” —Russell M. Nelson (1924–2025).
In the name of freedom, we built a society that separated sex from responsibility.
The result?
A collapsing birth rate, a broken dating market, and a generation addicted to pleasure
