Last week 2025 STAAR test results dropped in TX & one thing is clear:

A rigged STAAR is setting up schools & districts for TAKEOVER.

Ex: 50% of 3rd graders got a ZERO on the typed essay. When 50% get a 0, there’s something wrong w/the test, not the kid.🧵

Texas Republicans just passed a bill forcing every teacher to post the Ten Commandments in their classroom.

They passed it on the Sabbath… breaking the 4th Commandment.

Maybe they should try following the Ten Commandments before mandating them.

From  ⁨@LockhartISD⁩  - "At first glance this legislation appears to promise historic investments in public education, but I need to be direct with you, the version currently being considered by the Senate is not helpful. It is harmful to Lockhart ISD."

In this video, Superintendent Estrada shares that if Lockhart ISD receives only a slashed $55 basic allotment it will be offset entirely by another area of the funding formula with a net impact of ZERO for Lockhart ISD students. This legislation could divide and destabilize their teams who serve students everyday. Only 41% of their staff would receive a proposed raise, leaving out so many. And the teachers who would receive the raise aren't asking for one at the expense of their colleagues
