PRESS RELEASE
5/28/2026: Thanks Belgium
Department of Foreign Affairs
United States of Biafra
Date: 28 May 2026
The Government of the United States of Biafra, through the Department of Foreign Affairs, is proud to announce that on 26 May 2026, the United States of Biafra Mission in Belgium successfully submitted the Sovereign Instruments of our nation to the Belgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Justice, and the Immigration Office (watch video)
This important diplomatic engagement marks another significant step in the ongoing internationalization and the restoration of our sovereign national identity on the global stage. We commend the Biafra Mission in Belgium for its professionalism, dedication, and unwavering commitment to advancing the interests of the United States of Biafra and Biafran nationals worldwide.
We also extend our sincere appreciation to all Biafran mission representatives and diplomatic missions across the world for their tireless work, resilience, and continued diplomatic achievements in service to our nation and our people.
Furthermore, we wish to acknowledge and thank the Governments of Australia, Canada, Japan, Ireland, and others for their engagements, acknowledgements, and continued attention to the plight of the Biafran people. We look forward to deeper international cooperation and stronger actions in support of justice, peace, and self-determination.
In particular, the Government of Canada has continued to raise concerns before the international community regarding the genocidal actions of the Nigerian regime, while the Government of Australia has acknowledged the transnational repression, extrajudicial killings, torture, and other violations suffered by Biafrans under Nigeria’s continued illegal military occupation of our territory.
We therefore call upon other nations and international institutions to support the United States of Biafra in its decolonization mandate and legitimate quest for self-determination. Such support is essential to ending the prolonged humanitarian crisis and violence against our people, and to ensuring the emergence of a free and peaceful United States of Biafra; a nation where our citizens can finally enjoy the peace, development, security, and dignity that have long been denied to them.
The recognition of our nation is imperative, as our interrupted sovereignty was restored on 29 November 2024 and shall never again be extinguished.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Dr. Ngozi Orabueze
Deputy Prime Minister

Hello @CCSoludo, things like this shouldn't be happening under your watch.
How can young men who go about their legitimate businesses be treated like criminals?
@PoliceNG leave our young men alone. Have you seen why no one is willing to join both the army and the police?
“Where is our 210 trillion naira NNPCL??? Why is nobody in police , EFCC, ICPC and other agencies detentions? Or jail ??? Why the new MOU with Chinese company when we already paid 3.5 billion dollars 💵 to renovate the refineries??? APC government nah scam …. Vote them out so we can probe them…”

I think something is wrong with some Nigerian police officers. They have always forgotten that the world is watching them. Can you repost this until the IGP sees this video 🙆🙆
What do you know about IPOB
Directorate of States (DOS) ?
The Directorate of State (DOS) of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) is described within and outside the movement as the "indestructible backbone" and the highest administrative authority responsible for maintaining the momentum of the Biafra struggle, particularly following the detention and life imprisonment of their leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.
The DOS is Comprising highly committed individuals, they ensures continuity, discipline, and unity, serving as a "fortress" that prevents the collapse of the movement when its top leadership is targeted.
Headed by Mazi Chika Edoziem, the DOS is the central hub for decision-making, strategic planning, and intelligence gathering.
DOS members are characterized as having "weathered storms" of arrests, blackmail, and intense political pressure from the Nigerian state
The body promotes the Biafran cause through diplomatic engagement, global media, and peaceful agitation, aiming for a UN-supervised referendum.
The DOS is Sustaining the Struggle Strategically By providing a structured, decentralized command, the DOS has made the IPOB movement resistant to leadership vacuums.
The DOS is active in engaging with foreign governments and organizations, aiming to increase the international profile of the Biafran movement.
The DOS focuses on the objective of independence, often issuing directives that address misinformation and efforts to influence the southeast region
The Directorate of State is viewed by its followers and Biafran sympathizers as the representative face of the movement, providing the organizational structure intended to maintain a long-term political campaign for self-determination.

We Occupied Ministry of Justice Over Illegal Detention of Justice Crack
In a decisive response to the unjust remand of Justice Chidiebere Mark, widely known as Justice Crack, by a judge of the Federal High Court in Abuja, we moved immediately to occupy the premises of the Federal Ministry of Justice, demanding urgent intervention from the Attorney General of the Federation.
The court’s decision to remand a civilian whistleblower in the custody of the Department of State Services is not only excessive but represents a dangerous abuse of judicial authority.
