tbh, as a car driver and non-bikerider, I would prefer protected bike lanes over the “buffered” version. When not occupied by double-parkers, the bike lanes on Broadway are commonly used as a driving lane by cars #oakmtg

Actually surprised that there aren’t more of my north Oakland neighbors calling for more police. I expected this to be the district least likely to support defund, but I am pleasantly surprised. (There’s still plenty of white people whining about other things) #oakmtg

@UCBRachelB I called the police to get a mentally ill homeless person who was shooting dope off my patio (wishing with all my heart that I could’ve called MACRO instead) and they came with FOUR CARS (I have enormous empathy for drug addiction- but you can’t shoot dope on my patio)
