So tomorrow, if you stand with us and haven’t voted yet, I encourage, indeed implore you to do so. It’s a red alert moment, all crew to their battle stations. Help us win this fight, which is the same fight as ages past, but reimagined for 2024. Be a part of the winning side of history.
@VeryBadLlama My great grandmother raised an extended brood of children and stepchildren on farm in poverty and sent 5 daughters to college, where they graduated despite barely affording to eat and became school teachers.
@BuryMeIn208@Lil_Luna_IRLz@micah_erfan It wouldn’t be a problem if the weight of a person’s vote didn’t change depending on where they are registered to vote.
@ThymeToBeBorn I have a friend who has twin little sisters less than two years younger than her.
She says it was hard on their parents when, but nice for the kids, all being so close in age.
@SNeurotypicals I think that, like psychiatric things, it is a common human experience, but dialed up to 11.
Yes, it is an experience familiar to most people, but some of us have it ALL THE TIME and/or so intensely that it makes it hard to function.
@sarahsecrets6@ih8it4u@blondemedSJW 1% who don’t know what the word “decapitated” and 1% who are contrary little gremlins who will answer “yes” just because it’s a silly question doesn’t seem surprisingly high to me🤷🏻♀️
@NotAnyUse It's not even like these things are irreconcilable.
It's perfectly possible to send a text that says "Call me when you get a chance. I want to talk about Thanksgiving plans" or whatever and not give anyone a heart attack.
@danidonovan The other most useful thing has been identifying triggers. Unfortunately for me, one of my biggest triggers is chocolate😭
And also possibly ORANGE JUICE, of all things??
@snichollstmd @splendourella@moniza_hossain Americans are paranoid about guns because our fellow Americans keep using them to SHOOT UP ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS.
Places that can have widespread gun ownership without having mass shootings on a regular basis can keep their guns, as far as I’m concerned.
