@jonsopel @StevenJNorris Brings to mind that in 1966, on being told that PresCharles DeGaulle had taken France out of NATO and that all U.S. troops must be evacuated from French soil Pres LBJ mentioned to Secretary of State Dean Rusk that he should ask DeGaulle if this included US Troops buried there.

@DrChrisParry PS I did hear one wit once remark that King Cetshwayo’s defeat at Rourke’s Drift was down to his decision at the last minute to break with tradition and to field the 4000,3000,3000 formation as opposed to the well tried 5000 3000,2000!
