I remember meeting #PrinceMangosuthuButhelezi in Canada years ago. He was on a government propaganda campaign trip to discourage sanctions against apartheid SA.
He made a compelling speech about how black SA people were being hurt by the boycotts. His mandate, as I understood it, was to stop international support of the anti apartheid movement. Something we worked very hard for.
