I JUST spotted a manned Tesla Cybercab driving through Tempe, AZ.

My guess: Tesla could be mapping and validating the area before eventually deploying fully autonomous Cybercab rides here.

Tempe is already listed within Tesla’s Arizona Robotaxi operating areas, and Cybercab sightings have been reported around the Phoenix metro. 👀

Arizona might be getting very interesting very soon.

Yesterday I was listening to a debate on the Counsel of Trent podcast, where Trent Horn invited God Logic for a discussion. Something came up during that conversation that made me think more carefully about Catholicism.

It led me to the conclusion that, from my perspective, there seem to be two broad groups of Catholics.

The first group places Jesus Christ alone at the center of their faith and devotion.

The second group believes in Jesus, but also has a strong devotional life involving Mary and the saints through prayers asking for their intercession, feast days, and other devotional practices.

That is why I don’t think it’s enough to simply ask someone, “Are you Catholic?” A better question is, “What role do Mary and the saints play in your faith?”

The answer tells you a lot about how that person understands prayer, intercession, and their relationship with Christ.

As a Protestant, I hold to passages such as 1 Timothy 2:5, which says there is “one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus.” Because of that, I believe every Christian should examine every doctrine and practice in light of Scripture and ask whether it keeps Christ as the sole mediator and the central focus of worship.

This isn’t written to insult Catholics. It’s an invitation for every Christian, regardless of denomination, to search the Scriptures and make sure that Christ remains at the center of their faith.
