The Ethnicity Premium is real — structural barriers are limiting financial opportunities for ethnic minorities. It’s time to level the playing field. 💚
Financial wellbeing is not felt equally. Minoritised ethnic communities pay more for financial goods & face more barriers accessing services. So I was pleased to join @RootedFinance & @MoneyAandE to launch a vital new #EquityinFinance project with @Uma_Kumaran & @CalvinBailey

Don't fall for it. Toying with peoples mental health through the power of suggestion is unethical and irresponsible. Just know there's nothing blue about this Monday. If you are struggling today, please reach out for help. #MentalHealthAwareness
Blue Monday is a piece of crap pseudo science originally part of a travel company's press release to sell holidays.
Can we all try to avoid rewarding marketeers, using this term, which tries to sell goods by parasiting on the back of real mental health campaigns.
@jumaf3 There are a lot of jobs opening in the tech industry this year in the UK. Hopefully, this can broaden horizons and the kids can get practical support to enter the industry.
@FinLitBae It's important that parent's do not compartmentalise their children's education and take part in a wrap-around educational process. This is particularly hard to do for low incomes families as financial stress and working long hours can make it difficult for this to happen.
A lot of people do not claim their full entitlement and end up in destitution. Please use services like this or reach out to Money A+E for support with benefit maximisation.
❗ If you’re having a difficult time with the cost of living, you should check if you can claim benefits or increase your current benefits.
Our advice can help you check if you could get Universal Credit and other benefits ⤵️

While this isn’t an exhaustive list, we hope it reflects our commitment to embedding wellbeing into our culture, moving beyond the “tick-box” approach.
As part of this strategy, we’ve introduced initiatives such as vouchers and time off for milestones, celebrate team and individual achievements through an internal newsletter (launching this month), organized regular team lunches, and provided access to counselling services.
