Personal finance tip #21
Don't set yourself back to look cool.
The Ferrari and the Camry both get you to the same place.
The Rolex and the Casio both tell the same time.
Invest your money in assets.
They'll pay for everything you could ever need.
Took a decent break. But back now, and hoping to keep the content coming.
In the meantime, thinking of starting work on some extra resources which will be given away for FREE!

One thing which I've also stressed on a lot is that financial wealth is NOT the only type of wealth. There's more to it than just money.
“If you think investing your money or building another source of income is risky wait until you find out how risky living paycheck to paycheck is”
– @chrissssjohnson
At a certain point in your career, salary isn't the only thing you're negotiating.
You're also negotiating time. Is the high salary worth the tradeoff of no work-life balance? Is the culture worth a low salary? You gotta learn what tradeoffs matter to you. -@SeanTalentW
Want to know a surefire way to make money? Ask for that raise.
Here's how:
1. Set and agree on targets with your boss
2. Work to achieve them
3. Convert gains into actual numbers relative to revenue/profit
4. Show them to your boss.
#3 is SUPER important.
If you can afford it, paying experts to help you improve at life is probably the single best way to spend money
Personal trainer for physical health
Therapist for mental health
Business coach for work health
etc
This is how you take "investing in yourself" to the next level
what are your favorite examples of epic business strategy?
eg.
- Microsoft licensing DOS to IBM
- 5 hour energy going into small bottles so they would be near the register instead of next to redbull
name some others
@finance_hipster Didn't think this will blow up so much. So, I'll take this time to tell you that I've written a book about saving money without stressing yourself, and it would mean a lot to me if you guys give it a read! Go grab it here! 👉https://t.co/GdEzyUziaX
“Calling this generation soft or weak because they are actually quitting toxic jobs was always hilarious to me. How is staying and licking your boss's boots every day for the rest of your life a show of courage exactly?”
– @yugopnik
On the internet, people love telling you that you must have a side hustle. But if you love your day job, it's also okay to invest time and energy in getting better at it.
Eventually, you will start to reap the rewards over the rest of your career.
Fully agree! There's this quote which says that "your greatest enemy and best friend is between your two ears", and it's so true! Master your behaviour and you master yourself.
@hypefury Hello,
I'm a former stock broker, and corporate finance executive who got mad by seeing all the bullshit money advice peddled on the internet.
So I wrote an ebook with practical, simple tips for regular people to live a better life. It's available at https://t.co/GdEzyUziaX
