@SuzieD755164 @Eolas_na_Iontas It’s why I didn’t go further than the Gardaí 20 years ago there wasn’t a ban Garda in every station so I spoke with two Gardaí at different times and they were both amazing and so kind and what’s more knew I was telling them the truth but Dublin rape crisis centre were useless!

Sadly her ordeal is only just beginning. Rape victims are NOT rape victims in the eyes of Irish courts. They are merely state witnesses and cases are not taken on their behalf. They are taken in the interest of the public which is interesting because there's no "interests of the public" considerations when letting these anonymous men in from incompatible cultures. Rape victims have no real discernible rights and no legal representation in court. Unless sexual history i brought up. Even then they have no real representation as you cannot talk to a barrister about your case at all. This is seen as interfering with a witness. She will ne left languishing for years. Not able to move on or heal. I know because this is my own situation currently. Waiting over 11 years.

Breaking News: It has been omitted from press reports but we can reliably inform you the public that the men held on remand for the gang rape of a female in Ceannt Train Station in Galway (which is in the busiest part of the city) are residents in a IPAS centre (“Asylum centre”). The government once again has blood on their hands and seeks to hide the truth. Your tax payer money is paying for these men to be here. Of course as usual no one checked their background in any way whatsoever.

Each man is charged with the rape of a female on August 1 at Ceannt Railway Station car-park, contrary to section 48 of the Offences Against The Person Act and section 2 (1) of the Criminal Law Rape Amendment Act, as amended by section 21 of the Criminal Law Rape Amendment Act. They needed Arabic interpreters in court.
