The life you want will be built during the hours nobody applauds and through the choices nobody sees. Keep going. The quiet effort you make today will create the results everyone notices tomorrow.

Keep believing in your future. There are beautiful places you haven’t seen, wonderful people you haven’t met and happy memories still waiting to be made.
This interview was 2023 December. Somehow it’s making rounds again but it’s a conversation we must have. Repatriation or Intergration is a good pathway to close the camps. The refugees are tired, the host are tired.
Breaking: Kenya has been awarded the right to host the 2029 World Athletics Championships.
Nairobi will become the first African city to stage the senior World Athletics Championships, bringing one of the world’s biggest athletics events to the continent for the first time.
It’s natural to feel broken if you’ve been treated badly or been the subject of rumours etc. But remember, some things are not within your control. Turn every anxiety, fear and concern into a supplication. Look at it as another reason to submit to the Almighty. Let Him take over.
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said the example of one who remembers Allah and the one who does not is like that of the living and the dead (Sahih al-Bukhari 6407). A heart without dhikr (remembrance) is not a quiet heart. It is a heart that has stopped breathing. My beloved, keep your tongue moist with the remembrance of Allah throughout the day (Sunan at-Tirmidhi 3375, graded sahih). It is the most weightless act, and the heaviest on the scale.
Allah gave us two tools for when life becomes too heavy. Sabr (patience) and salah (prayer). The ayah then tells us honestly that they are heavy, except for those with khushoo (focus and humility). If your salah feels like a burden right now, do not despair of Allah's mercy. It is a sign of where the heart is. Begin again, even if the steps are small.
Allah tested
Nuh (A.S) with a flood,
Ibrahim (A.S) with a fire,
Ya'qub (A.S) with blindness,
Yusuf (A.S) with separation,
Ayyub (A.S) with illness,
Musa (A.S) with tyrants,
Harun (A.S) with betrayal,
Yunus (A.S) with patience,
Sulaiman (A.S) with a kingdom and
Dawud (A.S) with war.
Tests will come, never say "why me?"
