It is a true joy to see Aloka remaining so calm, relaxed, and peaceful whenever he walks alongside the venerable monks. This steady spirit is exactly what we saw in him back in India and throughout the entire Walk for Peace across the United States. No matter where his paws touch the ground, his heart remains serene and focused on the path.

Watching him, we are reminded to find that same inner stillness as we walk through our own daily lives. Even a short walk can be a beautiful meditation when done with a peaceful heart.
