@TrentKelly2472@BitcoinSapiens Companies must be owned by somebody unless we are in a situation where no one owns anything ever or the government owns everything.
What about ownership of companies? Would that become irrelevant too?
People don’t save for retirement by simply leaving cash in a bank account. They buy assets. If AI changes everything, does ownership stop mattering?
Genuinely asking: if someone owns part of a company like SpaceX 20 years from now, why would that ownership be worthless? The value created by AI has to accrue somewhere.
Elon Musk said saving for retirement becomes pointless in 10 to 20 years. Not speculation. Math.
Musk: “Don’t worry about squirreling money away for retirement in like ten or 20 years. It won’t matter.”
We passed the event horizon. Retirement savings assumes scarcity persists. It won’t. AI and robotics collapse labor costs to zero. Living costs follow. You’re not saving for security. You’re saving for a world that stops existing.
Musk: “If any of the things that we’ve said are true, saving for retirement will be irrelevant.”
@rusagusa@SamKabera@hambajona You can even offer overnight charging, and they can pick up the batteries in the morning if you had a bigger place where they can park motorcycles. Of course, you would charge for the overnight parking too.
Spiro would do anything to shut you down though lol.
The US government, citing national security authorities, has issued an export control directive to suspend all access to Fable 5 and Mythos 5 by any foreign national, whether inside or outside the United States, including foreign national Anthropic employees.
The net effect of this order is that we must abruptly disable Fable 5 and Mythos 5 for all our customers to ensure compliance.
Access to all other Claude models is not affected.
We apologize for this disruption to our customers. We believe this is a misunderstanding and are working to restore access as soon as possible.
