If tariffs are so bad and don’t work, why does every country have them on U.S. imports?
Here are 5 things tariffs actually do:
1. Protection of domestic industries
2. Generation of government revenue
3. Strategic leverage in trade negotiations
4. Political or national security considerations
5. Retaliation or defensive trade measures
We’re going to feel some short-term pain, but I believe in America’s resiliency, and that pain will be less than expected.
And sometimes, a little discomfort now prevents a lot more damage later.
We’ve gotten too used to avoiding short-term pain just to protect existing wealth.
Give Trump’s tariffs some time to work.
Watch every country fold, and the money roll in.
Make America Wealthy Again.
Brad: “If you were doing over $100B in revenue by 2028 or 2029, you’d be in position for a $1T IPO.”
Sam: “How about 2027?”
Sam said OpenAI is already doing more than $13B this year, below is the latest projection.
Good Morning from Germany, where trust in political representatives has fallen drastically, and trust in key democratic institutions has also fallen.
Trust in the Bundestag (Legislative branch) fell by 20ppts, from 54% in 2021 to 34% in 2025.
Trust in the Federal Govt (Executive branch) declined even more sharply—by 41ppts, from 63% to just 22%.
The Chancellor’s approval saw the steepest drop, plummeting 53 points, from 75% to 22%.
Even the Federal President, typically held in high regard, lost 15 points—from 76% to 61%—after years of stability since 2008 (except briefly during Christian Wulff’s term).
If US government, Saylor, and the BTC ETF continue to buy $BTC, it's bullish for the next 2-3 years, and it's extremely bearish long-term. 5-6 entities controlling 25%-30% is a big centralization risk.
$MSFT and $META capex spend is unsustainable. The capex growth for both companies has been around 35% and Morgan Stanley projects a similar growth in 2025. In 2026-27 the capex spend will hit the FCF hard.
Huawei's new AI server is insanely good
People need to reset their priors
This is why banning H20 without banning tools and sub components is idiotic because Huawei is not far behind H20.
The admin needs to act fast to slow down Huawei's ramp or the H20 ban will be useless

This is probably a good time to remind everyone that US AI companies try to honor copyright laws for pre-training our best models while the Chinese models do not.
If there is a level playing field, American companies will most assuredly win the AI race.
Today's a good day to remember why we're here.
