@gvanhp Gross margin not 80%, they throw support costs in opex, it’s more like 70%, which is still good. Customer retention numbers reported are very misleading. Bad retention in a big market is only ok for so long. They spent $50m on buybacks and it wasn’t enough to lower share count.
@RahulSetty_ Any thoughts on customer retention? They advertise 85% in the deck but when you read the footnote that's only for cohort who has been there longer than 2 years. That seems scary. How does that compare to other consumer subscriptions like netflix? Is it good or bad?
@BarrySchwartzBW Buyback the shares they are issuing to acquire matterport? Should have just done an all cash deal in the first place. Too many companies for them to buy. They won’t buyback shares until the year 2030.

“The numbers are clear. The numbers are verified — we have 156 million unique monthly visits for our Homes network and they have 72 million, so we are about 84 million ahead of them in monthly visitors and that is a nine alarm fire for them. That is a big problem,” Florance said

“The obvious monopoly is Nvidia, but it doesn’t seem that durable. If you thought Nvidia was as durable as Google, the stock is really cheap and you should buy it like crazy.”
@Dragonride98333 @burrytracker Institutional investors have been piling into both MFR and SFR over the last 5 years. There have been huge benefits to NOI from software adoption, think those benefits will continue but at a slower/smaller rate.
