@jfais20 Re $TARS CCO leaving usually I would agree w your observation but heโs leaving for a public CEO role which feels like a legitimate step up. Letโs see what the 2Q numbers and guidance update look like in a few weeks.
The fund is concentrated in rapidly growing commercial stage biopharma stocks and comprises 10 names $ARDX $ARQT $HROW $KNSA $MDGL $SNDX $TARS $TVTX $URGN $XERS
My fund was up 7.2% in 2Q26 and 57% over the last 12 months (LTM). The benchmark NBI index was up 12.4% in 2Q26 and 55% for the LTM. Since inception (ITD) on 9/30/2023 my fund CAGR is 37.0% vs 30.6% for the NBI index. The Nasdaq index CAGR is 29% ITD.
@Oddhootcapital I agree with many of your positions but do not share your enthusiasm for $TMDX. Mid-teens growth, small TAM, 60% gross margin, tough hardware/logistics biz. The SP chart is a mess. I hope you prove me wrong.
@NateGeraci About 70% of the $SPCX IPO is going to institutions so not sure itโs getting dumped on retail. Suggest checking in after about a year post IPO to see if it has โsucceededโ.
@ElMonoGran42994 Itโs also why the $XBI sector is interesting. Patient, long term stock pickers can make money because the sector is noisy and imperfectly priced in the short term. Anything less than a 12 month view makes no sense in biotech imo.
@charliebilello Goldman Sachs and others have shown that underlying eps growth is mid to high teens. Marking up private equity valuations (by GOOG and AMZN mainly) in Anthropic and OpenAI is about a third of expected 2026 eps growth. Caveat emptor.
@TimmerFidelity Great charts as always @TimmerFidelity . Regarding 2026 earnings growth, what %, if any, is due to mark ups of holdings (mainly by the Mag 7) in OpenAI, Anthropic, SpaceX etc?
@GavinNewsom Most people are not great with large numbers. Simplify. Express everything as $ per household. So $2.4TN is about $18,000 per US household.
$HROW continues to disappoint with its guidance philosophy. Shame bec the fundamentals seem to be in pretty good shape. Gonna take another Q or two to get clarity about the impact of the sales force ramp and some of the 1Q GTN black magic to unwind. $XBI
@Oddhootcapital If you did not already own $WGS here would you put cash into it here given this chart.
Understand itโs kinda cheap (tho 20x 2027 ebit is not a bargain) but consensus numbers are coming down. I donโt own $WGS or planning to buy.
@KLM your US customer service line is hopelessly stuck in the 1980s. "All our customer service agents are busy, please stay on the line" on an endless muzak loop without being able to get a callback or getting info on how long the wait is likely to be should be the minimum on offer. Do better.
@AndreasSteno All Dow Jones indices are price weighted and we should just ignore them. This is an anachronism dating back to the late 1800s when the easiest thing to do was take simple price averages to create an index. Itโs time to move on.
Very solid $TARS numbers & guidance today. Relentless beat & raise story - great execution. Stock up 9% AH - back close to its ATH if it holds. Trades at 3.8x 2026 revs (growing at >50%) with 93% gross margins. Happy to be way long here. $XBI $ARDX
@simon_ree Very few investors get paid to be right for the next 10 years - so itโs the next year that matters and then itโs just a coin flip. Plus ca change.
