No, In Canada (as of 2026), when you sell stocks and make a profit, that’s a capital gain. You don’t get taxed on the full amount though. Only half of it counts toward your taxable income. That’s what they call the 50% inclusion rate. So if you make $10k profit, only $5k gets added to your income and taxed at your marginal rate (depending on your salary/other income).
The other $5k is completely tax free.

In the end… it was just a dream.

I loved this game so much. All the intense fights, the tournaments, the adrenaline of not knowing what the opponent would do next, every single victory we fought for… especially those battles for top 3 Leaderboard.

This sudden shift hurts. Saying goodbye even for 5-6 weeks feels heavy. We’ve seen too many projects rug and disappear, so staying confident right now is hard.

Hopefully…
We will come back stronger. ❤️‍🩹
