Palantard since the DPO. Education improves your opportunities. Opinions are my own. Munger’s Pie Counter Lesson is the most difficult lesson to implement.
Mark Twain (I’m paraphrasing): “history does not repeat but it often rhymes”. In the early 1980’s the US economy was transitioning from high inflation and high interest rates as the world was embracing the personal computer and then the internet (world wide web for those of you from the time)in the early 90’s, both provided increased productivity gains and growth during the build out with subdued inflation.
We are seeing the same for AI. The market gains from 1980 to 2000 were enormous, the same will be said from 2020 to 2040s.
Enjoy the next 15-20 years and invest in the trend.
@dannycheng2022 So true! Stanley Drunkenmiller learned to outsize his investment position when he found an asymmetric opportunity and Soros showed him to use leverage if he was certain he was on the correct side of the trade. Leverage can be very dangerous to use so use it carefully.
$PLTR CEO Alex Karp said Palantir hopes customers try LLM companies first to realize “they don’t care about you at all” then come back to own the means of production with Palantir.
@etienne_breton@PalantirTech Congratulations Etienne! I’m part of the retired (60 days in) due to my PLTR investments and still holding a majority of my shares.
@arny_trezzi@StockSavvyShay Reminds me of the days when PLTR was below $10 when all signs were pointing towards better business metrics. At these prices I’ve being adding shares. PTFB
Why pay $CRM an annual licensing fee when you can build your own custom software on $PLTR Foundry. This is what Salesforce faces as competition. Not only them, the same applies to ServiceNow, Atlassian, etc. $SAP came to this realization and partnered (ie builds on Palantir Foundry) so they are not replaced. Enterprise software providers are facing industry disruption if they don’t build on the Palantir Foundry platform!!!
@arny_trezzi Similar to when I was explaining to my wife that I was investing 50% of our liquid assets into $PLTR (2020-2022). I’m still married and she is happy with the results. Arny, try presenting her with a PLTR stock certificate (then you’ll know if she is a keeper).
