Charlie Munger once said,
"You have to keep learning if you want to become a great investor,
When the world changes, you have to change."
Always remember,
Dumb people stop learning once school ends but wise people learn forever.
Keep Learning, keep Growing!!
🚨 MICHAEL BURRY IS BETTING AGAINST THE RALLY AND WARNS OF A POSSIBLE 1987-STYLE CRASH
In his Tuesday Substack post, Michael Burry warned that the stock market may be near a MAJOR TOP and said a possible 1987-style crash could be coming.
Michael Burry remains heavily bearish despite the S&P 500 hitting fresh record highs.
Burry said the S&P 500 surged +5% in just 4 trading days to a new high.
That has happened only 3 other times:
1. April 23, 1999 - around the beginning of the dot-com decline
2. March 21, 2000 - near the peak of the dot-com bubble
3. November 9, 2020 - Covid-19 vaccine 90% effective news
Major portfolio changes disclosed by Burry:
1. Exited Microsoft longs
2. Closed Oracle shorts
3. Closed January 2026 Palantir puts but remains short the stock
4. Rolled Nvidia puts into June 2027 with strikes in the low $100s
5. Rolled Invesco QQQ short position into February 2027
He continues to hold his SOXX short and puts, warning that the latest rally could actually increase the risk.
He also added that he’s still holding his existing positions in $MU, $CAT, $TSLA and $AMAT.
He said, Many hedge fund “pod shops” and volatility-targeting funds were hit during July and are still “licking wounds.”
As markets rise and volatility falls, volatility-targeting funds can increase leverage - potentially bringing even more leverage from momentum strategies.
But if the market keeps rising, fresh money could continue flowing in - potentially increasing leverage and making a future reversal more violent.
He also said Goldman Sachs Momentum Pair Trade remains damaged after its historic run, while VIX/VIXEQ volatility measures are near 12-year lows.
Burry warned that low volatility may be masking significant risks beneath the surface.
He is also working on the fourth installment of his “Heretic’s Guide,” which will examine the earnings and regulatory filings of the five largest hyperscalers through forensic analysis.

AK 47 is an assault rifle. It is usually deployed when police forces are fighting terrorists or extremists (like Maoists)
It is never -- never -- used to contain civilian protests
The AK 47 weapon should never have been issued by the armoury to a policeman who was deployed to contain a civilian protest
Not only the policeman who used the AK 47 weapon but also the armoury-in-charge who issued the weapon should be suspended and subjected to disciplinary action
