But yeah it’s Candy Crush preventing them.
This is criminal conspiracy and corporations can’t just be fined large sums of money as punishment as it’s never a deterrent to the behavior. Jail time should be the only option for the wealthy so that they can’t buy their way out of facing actual consequences.
These corporations purposefully harm consumers so the C-suite can tack on another billion to their wealth and call it a day. Every company that was involved in this should have every person that had a hand in this scheme face prison time. Enough is enough with letting these people get away with this.
As a five year old, my late father pulled me out of Summer Camp, told the counselors I had a dentist appointment. I was starting to complain, and he goes “Get a grip we’re going to see T2!!”
I remember my order, large Cherry Coke in the old school purple and black AMC cup, and a bag of mini Milky Ways. 3/4 through the movie I needed to go to the bathroom, he takes me and we come back, having missed the highway scene where Arnold freezes the T1000. For the next 30 years whenever it was on TV he’d always turn to me with that same gag “Is this a director’s cut…I don’t remember this scene at all, but it’s probably the best scene in the movie!”
Miss you, Jimmy
The Pope isn’t “quoting the Bible” he’s giving a homily.
That’s a traditional Catholic sermon that explains Scripture, applies it to our times, and calls people to live the Gospel.
Maybe some of you don’t know what a homily is.
That’s okay.
But criticizing the Pope for doing exactly what popes and priests have done for 2,000 years just shows you don’t understand the faith you’re attacking.
what's with this new trend where you can't even enjoy a little bit of nature without being like "im a MAN. i would BLEED OUT here." natures splendor is laid out before you and youre still stuck in this pathetic black rifle coffee dude wipes mindset
Misinformation truly will be the end of the world.
Dr. Paul Thomas didn't lose his license for "finding the truth"...he lost it for negligence. He advised against the Tetanus vaccine for a child who later contracted the infection and required mechanical ventilation for weeks.
And this study was retracted for a reason: it used a fabricated metric (RIOV) and was riddled with selection bias.
A US senator has no right to put their hands on someone. At all. They don't get to "help" the cops. This is a straight up assault by Senator Sheehy on an American Marine veteran who was exercising his right of free speech and got his arm broken protesting Israel's war.
Gotta be honest, McDonald's CEO is turning a corner here with me. We may have a content creator on our hands guys...
Describing the Chicken Big Mac as having the "same build" as the regular Big Mac is an amazing subtlety
It shows you he truly does think of these burgers as "products" with components that are built out like any non-edible consumer good
He also doubles down on calling the sandwiches products. You have to respect him not backing down there.
With this move he's subcommunicating that he's the CEO...this is more a business-acumenmogging move than anything else. What else would he think of them as?
His ending bit, the "Choose to buy both" zinger is the perfect amount of clunkiness to not be purely seen as cringy, but it's also not genuinely funny...which makes it funnier than delivering a pure good joke
I fear we underestimated this man...
